hmm. thing is why draw 9. just do them in the "herds" they come in. per group. pretty simple and I dont see any drop differences when it's done like this.

It's very nice people are seeking the perfect build ... sadly enough, they don't exist ... every skill can be countered, and a perfect build would ruin the game since everyone would take the build and win every guild battle or team arena ... this enver happened and never will ... everything can be countered and when I meet someone with this build with me being any character and I know about it I'd take my perfect counter skills and he'll be running very soon ...

Yes I am very upset about this.

I've been working on a new build E/Me using Mist Form and Channeling for Energy, but I've not got it worked out yet. I usually die 2-3 times before I get them all killed.

bah ... your not getting anything cause its coming to me ... your expectations have risen to high because you think you should be getting hot drops every few runs. I still get drops at the same pace I did 2 weeks ago. Its in your head.

No joke. I've been getting an average of a gold item every other run (three in one run, once) over the past few days. In fact, if anything, it seems like the drops have improved in the area since the "new economy" patch.

so if we both have decent drops then its a misconception on people's own expectations.

I get an average of a 1-2 gold drops every 4 or 5 runs.

I just did a griffon run and it didn't drop an Uber weapon I could sell for 100 plat...griffon run is NERFED!@#!@# OMGZ@#!#

I just did a griffon run and got (2) purple drops (1) gold drop (2) silver dye (1) red dye and (1) purple dye. It's not nerfed it's just random luck.

My experience is after I farm it 2-3 times I need to go farm 2 or 3 other areas 2 or 3 times or else my gold drops stop.

At any rate, here is my new Ele build after the mist form changes. It is not as effective but it seems to work good enough.

E/Me

Weapon-1 Collectors Water Staff with +18% Enchanting
Weapon-2 Collectors Fire Staff with +29HP

Attributes:
Inspiration - 6
Water - 16 (12 + sup rune + hat)
Fire - 10 (I should add a sup rune to this...but just haven't done it yet--or at least a minor...)
Energy - 7 (6 + minor rune)

Skills
Channeling
Lava Font
Flame Burst
Meteor Shower
Mist Form
Fire Storm
Aura of Restoration
Eruption

Go run and aggro a bunch of stuff, have Water staff equipped. If your health gets down to about 200 you better stop and fight.

Timing is very important with this build and if you don't get it just right you will die. If you have a different enchanting mod or do not have a 16 Water, you will need to figure out what to change to make it work. This order works for me.
Cast spells in this order:
Equip Water Staff
Mist Form
Channeling
Aura Of Restoration
Equip Fire Staff
Lava Font
Meteor Shower
Fire Storm
Eruption*
Lava Font
Flame Burst
Lava Font
etc until Mist Form is ready.
Mist Form
Channeling
etc til they die.

* 20% of the time, your Mist Form will recharge extra fast thanks to the Water staff. If this happens, then dont bother casting Eruption and just be ready to cast Mist Form again before the old one runs out. Be happy when this happens as it makes it all much easier.

If you time it just right, your will finish casting Eruption exactly 5s before your Mist Form ends. It will then blind everyone for hopefully long enough to recast Mist Form. Make sure you don't let Channeling go down or you will have E problems very quickly. If you find that there are not many enemies left and your E is dropping because Channeling cannot keep up, then cast a fresh Mist Form and run and aggro some more mobs. I'd advise you to not stop to fight until Mist Form is ready again, but in the end, do what you gotta do...

I believe you all are having problems because your Smiting is not high enough. Here is my setup and I kill 20-30 Griffons in 60secs. or less.

8-Healing (Thats all u need to get +3 mending)
11-Smiting
5-Strength
8-Axe
8-Tactics

Bonetti's Defense
Cyclone Axe
Healing Hands (E)
Vigorous Spirit
Zealot's Fire
Balthazar's Aura
Live Vicariously
Mending

Just remember that the Axe is not your main attack strength. With 11 in Smiting Balthazars Aura does 21dmg a second and with Zealots fire it does some major damage. So crank that Smiting up and u will notice a huge difference. Good Luck and enjoy those Drops!
